In comics, Kevin as served as Executive Editor of Valiant Comics where he wrote and co-created Bloodshot. For TV shows, you can see his work on Southland, Rizzoli & Isles, The Vampire Diaries, Law & Order, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys among others. Kevin launched his career in Hollywood by forming a visual effects company and continues to work in that area and has provided effects for movies such as Daredevil, Hellraiser: Hellseeker, Miss Congeniality, and I, Robot.
He wrote and directed, Death Row, Slayer, Voodoo Moon, The Fallen Ones, Frost: Portrait of a Vampire, and others and also wrote and directed Fantastic Flesh, a documenatary about special effects. As a script writer and director, he worked with Sci-Fi Channel and Starz in addition to film releases. Kevin Vanhook has successfully kept one foot in the film industry as he gained acclaim in the comics industry.
